The body and mind work in unison with each other, so one can greatly affect the other. My goal is to help individuals understand how the mind and body work together so each person can take control of his/her physical and emotional health.
hi i talked with you briefly at the chapin health fair and i was wondering about your experience with alcoholics and depression
Ron,
It was great meeting you and glad you wrote. I have not had experience with alcoholics and limited amount with depression. Remember that I do not counsel. I am more a guide or facilitator who helps you make changes through goal setting and positive self-talk.
For depression, I recommend a program through Lucinda Bassett. She deals with stress, anxiety and depression. The program is excellent and very effective. Go to http://www.stresscenter.com There you will find a phone number or you can email a representative who can give you more details. There is a forum where you can talk to others with issues. Also, a great book to start with is, “What To Say When You Talk To Your Self” by Dr. Shad Helmstetter. This book helps us understand and see how we can change our thinking to bring change and positive things into our lives.
Please let me know if this helps. If you have more questions email me.
Best to you, Susan
